It must be Serendipity! I've been tagged

It was time for a new face lift for my blog so I have been working on and off this past weekend on spiffing up my blog for a new look. Do you like it?? :)

It must be serendipity that I received this fabby blog award from Sarah over at Moments-2-Remember this morning just as I was getting back to my blog lift project. This one is soo fun!! Thanks Sarah!!

I need to list 5 addictions:

1. Popcorn with a dusting of cheddar cheese and an ice cold coke at
movie theatres. (Its a wonder I never lose weight!)

2. Cashmere sweaters - I really love the feel of them and can't wait for
our So Cal weather to get back to cold and rainy tomorrow.

3. Organic grape juice with lots of ice cubes when I get home each day.

4. Buffet Lunch over at the El Torrito near where I work. I love their grilled beef in their taco bar, but I usually get 'em without the tortilla.

5. Gossip Girl is my new addiction. I looove that show!!

While I'm playing along now, I think I might as well get caught up with another Blog Award I received from both my good friend Eva and new DT mate Stacey from My Scrapbook Nook. These two girls gave me THIS fabby Kreativ Blogger Award. Thanks girls!!!

I have to name six things that make me happy, and then nominate six bloggers for the award in their turn.

Six things that make me happy:

1. Petting babies heads – I love the big round heads on children and just love to pat/rub the tops of their soft downy hair. All my friends think I’m weird, but thankfully, the ones that have small children indulge me and let me play with their babies’ hair. I love it when my head is petted by a loved one - that soft downward motion of someone caressing the top of my hair to the nape of my neck. It just feels very soothing.
2. I’m addicted to Face Book. I love seeing what all my current friends are up to – it’s a great way of catching up on everyone’s whereabouts and lives. I also especially love seeing what long ago school mates and friends are up to now. Oh! I can’t forget to mention Scrabble, Word Twist, Word Challenge and Owned!! Great time wasters for when I’m bone tired and can’t go to sleep!
3. Going to Cherry on Top usually when I leave Scrap 'N Yap in the evening. Its like Pinkberry’s except that you get to make your own yogurt from scratch and you pay for it by the ounce. I love my Hawaiian flavored yogurt (its like Hawaiian punch) with my various fruit toppings.
4. I'm so stoked that I'm getting Copic Marker certified at CHA Anaheim this weekend. I have often looked at Suzy's blog and a few other girls wishing that I can color like them too!
5. I'm lovin' the look of my new blog and am really happy that I'm no longer frustrated with getting blogger to do what I want it to.
6. Lastly, I've got a smile ear to ear today at the serendipitous coincidence of this week's events. Today is Martin Luther King Day and tomorrow is Obama's Inauguration Day. How cool is that?? Yes We Can...as Americans, so let's get going and work towards a better future already!
